From my earliest memories, flowers have been a constant presence in my life. As a little girl, I would walk to school, stopping along the way to pick tulips, captivated by their beauty.

 

My path to floral design began in the wedding industry—but not with flowers. I was creating wedding cakes, often adorning them with fresh blooms. Brides began to notice the way I arranged flowers on their cakes and started asking me to design their wedding florals as well.

 

Curious and eager to learn, I asked a florist friend to share the basics of floral design with me, and I quickly discovered that it was my true gifting. I traded my icing tools for pruning shears and took a job managing a florist shop in Jefferson City, MO. There, I deepened my skills by attending a wedding floral boot camp and mastering the art of crafting bouquets and arrangements.

 

Eventually, I moved to Wisconsin and spent seven years as a freelance florist, honing my style and creating for clients who valued originality over the ordinary.

 

In 2022, I took a leap of faith and opened my own business, Monarch Floral Creations, with a mission to design floral art as unique as each person I serve. I’m committed to creating pieces that are heavenly inspired, carefully curated, and deeply personal. People often tell me, “I love the flowers you made.” My response is always the same: “I didn’t make the flowers—God did. I just arranged them.”

 

Whether for a wedding, a celebration, or simply to brighten someone’s day, every design I create is made with love, intention, and a touch of the divine.
